A farmer has sheep and cows in the ratio 8:3 then how many sheep has the farmer if he has 180 cows

No. of sheeps will be 480

Ans. Let no. of sheeps be 8x

Then no. of cows be 3x

3x=180

x=180/3

So, x=60

Then, no of sheep's will be=8x= 8×60 = 480
