A farmer has to cross a river with a dog,a rabbit and a sack of carrots.his boat can only hold one animal or thing at a time.if the dog and the rabbit are alone on one shore,the dog might hurt the rabbit.if the rabbit is left with the sack of carrots,it will eat them.how can the farmer take all three safely across the river?

first of all he will take rabbit with him and drop him at the another end of river then he come back and take carrots with him and drop the carrots and take the rabbit back with him on the boat then the he drop the rabbit on the starting point and take dog with him on the another end and then came back and take the rabbit with him
