a farmer is able to purchase nitrogen fertiliser for sowing of wheat crop for next season. can u tell farmer to enrich his fields with nitrogen without adding the fertilizers

Yes we can and for that we can take help of microorganism. Their are two microorganism named Nostoc and Anabaena which contain nitrogen fixing capacity and can enrich his fields with nitrogen without adding fertilizers

He can sow sweet pea for this season because sweet pea has Rhizobium bacteria attached to it's root nodules. They are nitrifying bacteria. They do nitrogen fixation i. e., converting atmospheric nitrogen to nitrates and then to nitrites. This is the soluble form of nitrogen for plants. Therefore, it enriches the soil with nitrogen. But alternative form can be of cultivating nitrifying bacteria like Nitrosomonas, nitrobacter, etc.
