If 1/10 feed was wasted out of 96 kg then the quantity of animal feed left was 86.4 kg.

Step-by-step explanation:

The quantity of animal feed in the barn of a farmer = 96 kg

The wasted quantity of animal feed from the barn due to leakage = \frac{1}{10}th of 96 kg = 9.6 kg

Therefore,

After the leakage, the quantity of animal feed left in the barn with the farmer was ,

= [96 – 9.6] kg

= 86.4 kg

Thus, 86.4 kilograms of animal feed was left in the barn.
