\bold\red{\underline{\underline{Answer:}}}

Displacement will be 5m.

\bold\orange{Given:}

Side of square=10 m

Time he takes to cover one side =40sec

\bold\pink{To \ find:}

Displacement after 2 minute 20 seconds.

\bold\green{\underline{\underline{Solution}}}

2 minute 20 seconds=140 seconds

Hence he will cover 3 sides in 120 seconds

and in remaining 20 seconds he will cover half of fourth side.

Distance cover in 2mins 20sec=35m

Displacement is minimum distance between starting and ending points.

Whole perimeter of square=40 metre.

Distance cover is 2mins 20sec

=35 metre

Displacement is

40-35=5
