total time taken by the farmer: 2 min 20 sec = (120+20)sec = 140 sec.
side of the square field = 10 m
perimeter = 4*10= 40m
time taken by the farmer to cover 10 m = 40sec.
distance covered in 140sec= 140/40* 10= 35m
so displacement is 5m.
