Hii..
Here is your answer..

Solution:-
Distance covered in 40 seconds is 10m
Time taken=2min 20second
 =  > 2 \times 60 + 20 \\  =  > 120 + 20 \\  =  > 140sec
Total round completed=
 =  >  \frac{140}{40}  \\  =  > 3.5round
Now,as he is moving in square field let its side be ABCD ,he is moving from A to D and here the shortest distance is A to C.Assuming ABC as right angled triangle.We will find Displacement.

For find Distance between A to C ,we will use Pythagorean theorem:-
 =  >  {(ac)}^{2}  =  {(ab)}^{2}  +  {(bc)}^{2}
 =  >  {(ac)}^{2}  = 100 + 100

 =  >   {(ac)}^{2}  =  {10}^{2}  +  {10}^{2}
 =  >  {(ac)}^{2}  = 200 \\  =  >  {(ac)}^{2}  =  \sqrt{200}  \\  =  > ac = 14.14
Hence,the Displacement will be 14m(approximately)

Hope it helps uh...✌️✌️✌️
