time taken for one side=40sec
distance of one side=10m
so perimeter of square=4s
=4×10=40m
speed= total distance ÷total time =40÷40=1m/sec
so distance covered in 2min 20sec or 140sec = 140÷40=3.5 round
so after a 3 round it will be at its initial position, but it travel .5 m more which is 20m
draw a figure of square field of 10m each side and name them ABCD. draw a diognal from A to c . so in order to find displacement
Ab²=bc²+ca²
Ab²=(10)²+(10)²
Ab ²=200
Ab=√200
