A farmer moves along the boundary of a square field of side 10m in 40s. What will be the magnitude of displacement of the farmer at the end of 2m20seconds from his initial position

=4*10

=40m

=40/40=1

1m requires 1sec

Therefore, 2min 20sec

2*60+20

120+20=140m

140m requires 140sec to travel

Therefore, 140/40=3.5 rounds

displacement through area of triangle by pythagoras theorem,

Hypotenuse Square = 10Square+10 Square
=100+100
under root 200
=10root2 is answer
