A farmer planned to breed small fish along with his crop in his field to raise his annual income which

Answer: Paddy

Explanation:

Paddy needs lot of water and sometimes , water is let flowing in channels near the crop and fishes can also be tamed . This is done in paddy as both fish and paddy need lot of water
