Advice suggested to farmer to overcome the problem faced by him:
There may be other options to choose the seeds which were not attacked by the insects but apparently he can do a simple test to know the seeds which he can use.
He can take a bowl of water and then he can put all the seeds in the water. Then he will see that some of the seeds are floating and some of the seeds are sinking. The floating seeds are attacked by the insects and the sinking seeds are good seeds which he can use for the next year sowing.
