Overview: total fencing cost

first let us find out the perimeter of rectangle

= 2(40 + 25)

= 2 * 65

= 130m

now lets find circumference of the well

diameter = 7

so radius = 3.5

circumference = 2πr

= 2 * 22/7 * 3.5

= 22m

Now lets find fencing cost

rs 60 per meter

= (130 + 22) * 60

= 152 * 60

= rs 9120

The perimeter of rectangular park :-P= 2 ( L + W )    { L = length, W= width}

= 2(40 + 25)m

= (2 × 65 )m

= 130m

Diameter = 7  ( given)

∴ radius = 3.5

Circumference of the well:-

Circumference = 2πr

= 2 ×\frac{22}{7} × 3.5 m

= 22m

Now we have to find the fencing cost

(Rs 60 per meter)

= (130 + 22) × 60

= 152 ×60

=Rs 9120

Ans :- Total cost of fencing will be Rs 9120
