A farmer was advised not to use a particular type of fertilizer for his crop after harvesting a crop of peas .Give one reason for such an advice .Name any two crops other than peas crop which might have shown the same effect.​

After harvesting pea crops farmers are generally advised not to use nitrogen fertilizers in the next crop because they contain a type of bacteria Rhizobium leguminosarum on their roots which completes the requirement of nitrogen by fixing atmospheric nitrogen. So, soil become rich in nitrogen and there is no need to apply nitrogen fertilizer for the next crop.

Other crops which show same results as pea are Sweet clover and Fababean.
