A farmland is 40m long , 15m broad. 1200 cubic meter soil is to be excavated from it. How much deep a ditch is to be dug?

Area of field = 1200m^2

Length=40m

Breath=15m

Height/depth=?

Volume of cuboid=L*B*H

1200=40*15*H

1200/40*15=H

H=2m
