let the speed of the fast train be x km/hr
let the speed of slow train be (x-10) km/hr
time taken by fast train 600/x and for slow train 600/x-10
given 600/(x-10) - 600/x = 3
on solving we get x= 50
therefore speed of fast train is x= 50km/hr
and speed of slow train is 50-10= 40km/hr
hope it helps,thank you
