Answer:

see below

Step-by-step explanation:

when the son was 10 years old;

The father was (50-10=40) years old. Therefore the ratio is

\frac{40}{10} =\frac{4}{1}

written as 4:1

when the father was 35 years old;

The son was (20-(50-35))=5 years old. Therefore, the ratio was \frac{35}{5} =\frac{7}{1}

written as 7:1

when the son will be 40 years old;

The father will be (50+(40-20))=70 years old. Therefore the ratio will be \frac{70}{40} =\frac{7}{4} \\

written as 7:4

When the father is 75 years old;

The son will be (20+(75-50))=45 years old. Therefore, the ratio will be \frac{75}{45} =\frac{5}{3} \\

written as 5:3
