Answer:

mark me as brainiest or thank me plz

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the present ages of son and father be x and (60 -x) years respectively.

Then, (60 - x) - 6 = 5(x - 6)

54 - x = 5x - 30

 6x = 84

x = 14.

 Son's age after 6 years = (x+ 6) = 20 years..

Answer:

The answer is 20 yrs.

Pls mark my answer as brainliest!!!

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the present age of son and his father be x and y yrs respectively

According to first condition- x+y=60......(1)

Son's age 6 yrs ago=x-6

Father's age 6 yrs ago= y-6

According to second condition - (y-6)=5(x-6)

=y-6=5x-30

=5x-y+6-30=0

=5x-y-24=0

=5x-y=24...(2)

By adding eqn 1 &2, we get x=14

By substituting x=14 in eqn 1 we get y=46

The present ages of son and his father is 14 &46 respectively.

Son's age 6 yrs from now=14+6=20 yrs.
