Let the ages of children be,

x, x+3, x+ 6, x+9, x+ 12

Given that,

Average age is 50,

(x+x+3+x+6+x+9+x+12)/5 = 50

Add and cross multiply,

5x + 30 = 250

5x = 220

x = 220/5

∴ The age of youngest child will be,

=44

Hey !!

Here's your answer.. ⏬⏬

_____________________________

Let the age of 5 childrens be x, ( x + 3 ), ( x + 6 ), ( x + 9 ) and ( x + 12 )

Given that average age is 50.

(x + x + 3 + x + 6 + x + 9 + x + 12)/5= 50

5x + 30 = 50 × 5

5x = 250 - 30

5x = 220

x = 220/5

x = 44

We have to find age of youngest child.
x is the youngest one.

x = 44
so, age of youngest child is 44 years.
