Hiii....☺

Here is your solution.......☺

===============================
♦ let the age of son be "x" yrs

therefore age of his father = ( x + 20 ) yrs.

After 5 years,
____________________

Age of son = (x + 5)yrs

Age of father = ( x + 20 + 5) yrs = ( x + 25) yrs.

♦ According to question we have,

=> x + 25 = 3( x + 5)
=> x + 25 = 3x + 15
=> 3x - x = 25 - 15
=> 2x = 10
=> x = 5

Hence, age of his father = ( x + 20) yrs
= 5 + 20 yrs
= 25 yrs

==============================

Thanks....☺

let the age of son be x
and his father be x+20
a/c to question,
3*[x+5]=[x+20]
3x+15 = x+20
3x-x = 20-15
2x = 5
x = 5/2
