let the age of son be x.
then age of father is 3 x.

after 10 years.
father = 3x + 10 yrs old &
son= x+ 10 yrs
now acc. to quest. 3x+10 =2(x+10)
then. x= 10.therefore age of son be 10 yrs and of father is 30 yrs. I hope it may help u

means if the son is 10 years old then his father is 3 times older as his son 
10×3 = 30 
if the son is 30 then the father is multiplied 3 i.e 30×3=90
