Answer:

Lets assume father's age be x and son’s age be y.

Then according to first condition x=3y. And according to 2nd condition x+10=2(y+10)

Now solving we get

X+10 = 2y+20

=3y +10= 2y+20(putting the value of x from 1st condition)

Y =10.

X= 3y= 30.

Father’s age is 30 and son’s age is 10.

Answer:

Let son's present age be: x so, Father's present age : 3x After 10 years: Son's age = x+10, Father's age = 3x+10 According to the question, we have: 3x+10 = 2*(x+10) + 5 solving it, we get: x=15 Hence, Present age of son = x =15 years and Present age of father = 3x = 45 years
