Let the present age of father be X

And, sons's age be Y

Now we know that x-y= 30…equation 1

Age after 5 years will be X+5, Y+5 respectively

X+5=2(Y+5)

X= 2Y + 10–5

X-2Y= 5…equation 2

X-y=30
