a father is 30year older then his son in 12 year the man will be three times as old as his son find their parents age

let the present age of the father = x
present age of the son = y

x - y = 30 ----------1

after 12 years,

father's age = x + 12
son's age = y + 12

A.T.Q

x + 12 = 3(y + 12)
x +12 = 3y + 36
x - 3y = 24 --------2

1×3 - 2

3x - 3y = 90
-x + 3y = -24
---------------------
2x = 66
x = 33

by putting the value of x in eq 1

y = 33 - 30 = 3

Hence,
present age of father = 33 years
present age of son = 3 years
