Daughter's Present age = 10 Years old

Man's Present age = 50 Years old

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the daughter's age be 'x'

Therefore, the man's age will be 'x + 40'

In 10 years,

Daughter = x + 10

Man = 3 (x + 10)

= 3x + 30

3x + 30 = (x + 40) + 10

3x + 30 = x + 50

3x - x = 50 - 30

2x = 20

x = 10

Ans- Daughter's present age = 10 years old

Man's present age = 10 + 40 = 50 years old
