let the age of son be 'x'

father's age = x+45

15 years from now

father's age = (x+45)+15 = x+65

son's age = x+15

according to given condition

3*(x+15) = x+65

3x+45 = x+65

3x-x = 65-45

2x = 20

x = 10

son's age = x = 10

father's age = x+45 = 10+45 = 55

Answer:

let son's age= x

father's age= x+45

after 15years

father's age = (x+45)+15=x+60

given condition

3(x+15)=x+60

3x+45=x+60

3x-x=60-45

2x=15

x=15/2

x=7.5

therefore

son's age =7.5years

father's age =7.5+45=52.5years

hope it can use
