let father's age be x
and sons age be y
therefore,
according to condition 1,
x=6y................(1)
let there ages after 4 years be X + 4 and Y + 4 respectively.
therefore,
adding two condition 2.
X+4=4(y+4)................(2)
X + 4 = 4y+ 16...........(3)
substituting equation(1) into equation (3), we get,
6y + 4 = 4y+ 16
6y-4y=16-4
2y=10
y=10/2=5.
X=6y=6*5=30.
