let present age of father be X
and present age of son be y
A.T.Q.
x=3y
x-3y=0 _ _ _ _[1]
After 22 years....
father's age will be 22+x
and son's age will be 22+y
.˙. A.T.Q
x+22=2(y+22)
x+22=2y+44
x-2y=44-22
x-2y= 22 _ _ _ _[2]
solving [1] and [2] by elimination method....
y=22 ,
so,put y in eq [1]
x-3(22)=0
x-66=0
x=66
therefore, Father's age is 66 years old and Son's age is 22 years old
and present age of son be y
