ages before six years :--

son = x -6

father = 3x-6

father was five times the son

so,

ACCORDING TO QUESTION.

(X-6)5 = 3x-6

5x - 30 = 3x-6

5x - 3x = 30-6

2x = 24

X = 24/2

X = 12

age of son is 12 (X)

age of father is 36 (3x)
