if 7years ago the boy's age was X
therefore,
7year ago his father's age was 7X
so, 7x+10=3(x+10)
or, 4x=20
or, x= 5
So their present ages r (5+7)=12(son) and (7x+7)=(7×5+7)=42(Father).
