Dear Student,

◆ Answer -

118 °C'

● Explanation -

Let °C' be unit fkr measurement by faulty thermometer.

For original and read melting and boiling point of water,

100 ℃ - 0 ℃ = 190 °C' - 10 °C'

100 ℃ = 180 °C'

1 ℃ = 1.8 °C'

The thermometer will thus read -

T = 10 °C' + 60 ℃

T = 10 °C' + 60×1.8 °C'

T = 10 °C' + 108 °C'

T = 118 °C'

Hence, faulty thermometer will measure 118 °C'.

Thanks dear...
