a faulty thermometer reads 22 degrees celcius when dipped in pure melting ice and 97 degrees celcius when in steam.Find the thermometer reading when in a liquid at 60 degrees celcius.

[(97-22)/100]×60
=(75×60)/100
=45 °© will be the thermometer reading
