A feather and a stoned dropped simultaneously land at the same time in an evacuated tube what is the reason?

When a feather and a stone is dropped in air the feather due to airs resistance it falls slowly whereas in an evacuated tube as there is no air the stone and the feather fall at the same time .The airs resistance on stone is negligible due to its weight
