It is not quiet understandable for us.
It is available on every MS Office utility. Still now MS Office is available for Windows, MacOS (Offline Use) & online for everyone!

click on Microsoft office button --> click word options --> Click save --> select the save Autorecover information every x minute check box --> specify minute in minute list you want to save data and program state.
