Answer:

15

Step-by-step explanation:

A fence has to be made. Posts are to be for every 6 m interval. They are at starting and ending point. Person brings some

posts and there are 7 posts lacking. If they are 9 m interval the posts are sufficient. How many posts did the persons

bring?

Let say Fence Length = L m

Number of Posts Required for every 6 m interval = L/6  + 1

( as post is at starting & ending Point)

Person bring posts = L/6 + 1 - 7 =  L/6  - 6

Number of Posts Required for every 9 m interval = L/9  + 1

=> L/9  + 1 = L/6 - 6

=> 7 = L/6 - L/9

Multiplying by 18 both sides

=> 7*18 = 3L - 2L

=> L = 126

Person bring posts = 126/6 - 6 = 21-6 = 15
