↪Once there lived a powerful , arrogant and ferocious lion in a deep forest . He was so heartless , boastful and cruel that he wouldn't spare any animal coming in its way . He would attack the innocent animals not only for prey but sometimes just for fun .Everyday The lion would kill some or The other Animal. Slowly The population of The forest starting dwindling . The other animals began to live in great fear of the lion .
↪Fed up of him , one day they decided to hold a meeting . They reached a conclusion in the meeting that one animal would be sent for the lions meal each day . Like this the other animals would be safe at least . Thus, they told the lion about it who happily agreed .
↪Each day , an animal would be sent and this practise continued for some days until one day , it came the turn of a small rabbit Picky. He went to the lion very late ( intentionally ) . The lion was greatly angry on seeing that such a small creature had been sent for his meal . But the rabbit calmly announced ,' Respected King , there were four more rabbits sent along with me but on the way I met another lion who claimed to be the king of the jungle . He ate the other rabbits and I had to run for my life " . The lion lost all his senses on learning this .
↪The rabbit took him to a deep well and told him that the lion was hiding out there . The lion looked in , saw his own reflection and in desperation , jumped in the well and died ! Thus, the episode of the Cruel king came to an end . All thanks to Picky who saved not only himself but also the other animals !
Moral ↪Wisdom can Work Wonders .
