Let's x is no. Of cars and y is the no. Of bikes.

Since cars are having 4 wheels and bikes are having 2, from the given data we can write.

x + y = 18 (1)

4x + 2y = 46

so let  y = 18-x  sub y in equation 2

4x + 2 (18-x) = 46

2x + 36 = 46

2x = 10

so x = 5

Sub value of X in equation 2

y = 13
