A few days ago my friend Ritik was watching an english film in his house when his parents came to know about it, then his parents would be very angry with him. Ritik's parents start scolding to him and say that they would not sending him collage for to do all this. But Ritik kept bowing his head silently and listening to his parents, then his parents warned him that if he did it again, it would not be okay for his future. Then Ritik's father said that next month you will be 22 years old and we have promised one of our relatives for your marriage. Then Ritik wept and said that he loves a girl who studies in my collage. after hearing this, his parents got a big shock and started beating Ritik and saying that we knew that the result of watching an english film. After some time later ritik's father said if you don't forget that girl then you will not get anything from my property.​ please give me some suggestion about my friend?

If he does not what to marry any other girl he first had to secure his future. So he will have to have his own money so that he can live without his parents controling his life. He is above 18 which means he is already a adult. Watching Movies is not bad but if he is wasting his time then it's bad. Tell him to focus on his life and creating a good future for himself. Then he can marry whoever he loves after he has secured future for himself and his partner. But for now tell him to talk to his parents confidently and to take a stand against them.
