A few drops of Dellol when added to water
the mixture of turns turbid . why?

When we add water to the dettol, micro emulsion occurs. It is a solution where small droplets of the oil gets suspended in the water. The microemulsion destabilizes releasing the pine oil and castor oil. This leads to turbidity
