the answer is neutral because when purple cabbage juice is added to salt ,it turns light purple in neutral subtances , it turns red in acidic substances and it turns green in basic substances.

Explanation:

When a solution is basic in nature then this solution is able to change the color of a red litmus paper into blue.

When a solution is neutral in nature then color of litmus paper changes to purple or if color of the solution is purple then also it means the solution is neutral in nature.

Whereas when a solution is acidic in nature then this solution is able to change the color of a blue litmus paper into red.

Thus, we can conclude that when resulting solution becomes light purple then it indicates about the nature of the salt that it is neutral.
