area of material is given by CSA of frustum+ area of upper base
So Area of material used= π(R1 +R2)L
= 22/7(10+4)14
=22/7×14×14
=616 cm^2
I hope it will help you!!!!

- It's radius on the open side is 10 cm
- It's radius on the upper side is 4 cm.
- It's slant height is 14 cm.
- find area of material used for making it ...?
Curved surface area = π(r1 + r2) × h
Area of the top of the cap = πr²
Now, Total area of the material used for making the cap.
⟹ 616 + 50.2
⟹ 666.2
Hence,Total area of the material used for making the cap is 666.2.
