Solution:
Surface area of the Frustum of cone=
π (R + r) l + π r^2 + π R^2
R = 12 cm at open side,i.e. subtract π R^2
Total surface area = π (R + r) l + π r^2
l = 15 cm
R = 12 cm
r = 5 cm
Total surface area = π ( 12+5) 15 + π (5) ^2
= π 17*15 + π 25
= π (255 + 25)
= π 280
Total material required = 879.64 sq-cm
