I would have to say Lestat, the beloved vampire character in Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles. Rice is my favorite writer and in Lestat she has created the perfect blending of an evil character with redeeming qualities. The only downside of being him would be that it might make me a vampire. But maybe that wouldn't be so bad --- I would never die and I could read all the books I wanted forever.
