70*5=350
45*5=225
total area=225+350-25=550
area of field=70*45=3150
area of rem field=3150-550=2600m^2

Hello friend

___________________________

First write all the given values.

Length of the field (l) = 70m

Breadth of the field (b) = 45m

In the center is road 5m wide

We have to find the Remaining area of the field.

For finding the area of the remaining field, first we need to find the area of field and the area of the road.

So,

Area of the field = length x breath

= 70 x 45

= 3150 sq.m

And now we will find the area of the road.

So,we don't know the length and width of the road.First we need to calculate the length of the road and breadth then we can find the area of the road.

Length of the road =70 - 5 x 2

= 70 - 10

= 60 m

Breadth of the road = 45 - 5 x 2

= 45 - 10

= 35

Now,

Area of the road = length x breath

= 60 x 35

= 2100 sq.m

Now we can easily find the remaining area of the field.

Area of the remaining field = Area of the field - Area of the road

Area of the remaining field = 3150 - 2100

Area of remaining field= 1050 sq.m

Thanks..
