Given :-

Ar(||gm) = 432 m²

Perpendicular from first vertex = h = 12 m

Perpendicular from second vertex = h' = 12 m

We are asked to find the length of diagonals.

As we know that a parallelogram can be divided into two triangles and bases are same.

Ar(||gm) = 1/2 bh + 1/2bh'

432 = 1/2 × b × 12 + 1/2 × b × 12

432 = 6b + 6b

12b = 432

b = 432/12

b = 36 m.

Hence,

The length of diagonal = b = 36 m.
