Diagonal BD divides ABCD into two equal triangles ADB & CDB

therefore,

ADB = CDB (i)

Now,

area CDB = 1/2 * b * h

= 1/2 * 42* 10

= 420/2

= 210 m²

Since, CDB = ADB < from (I) >

therefore, ADB = 210 m²

Area of IIgm = area ADB + area CDB

= area 2 CDB

= 2*210 m²

= 420 m²
