A field in the form of a parallelogram has one of its diagonal 42cm long and the perpendicular distance from either of the outlying vertices is 80cm.Find the area of the field​

The image of the parellalogram is given on the picture above.

diagonal DB=42m

one of the diagonal AE=80cm =0.8m

AE=FC=0.8

this is because,it is a parellalogram in which both the triangles have have equal area.

therefore,

area of field=2×area of the triangle

here the base is the diagonal and the height is the perpendicular distance from either of the side.

is the answer.
