Given :

  • Shape of Field = Right Angled Triangle
  • Hypotenuse = 50cm
  • Base = 30cm

 \\

To Find :

  • Area of the Field

 \\

Solution :

✰ As we know that, Area of Right Angled Triangle is given by ½ × ( perpendicular × base ) . So in this question Hypotenuse and base are given so we will find the Perpendicular first and then we will find the area of Field. Also we will use Pythagoras Theorem to find the Perpendicular of the field.

Using Pythagoras theorem :

⟹ (H)² = (P)² + (B)²

⟹ (50)² = (P)² + (30)²

⟹ 2500 = (P)² + 900

⟹ 2500 - 900 = (P)²

⟹ 1600 = (P)²

⟹ √1600 = P

⟹ 40 = P

Now,

Finding Area of Field :

⟼ Araa of Field = ½ × ( P × B )

⟼ Araa of Field = ½ × ( 40 × 30 )

⟼ Araa of Field = ½ × 1200

⟼ Araa of Field = 600cm²

Thus Area of Field is 600cm²
