A field in the shape of a trapezium whose parallel sides are 25m and 10m, the non parallel sides are 14m and 13m find the area of the field

1 \div 2(25 + 10) \times 13

Area of trapezium = 1/2 multiplied by (sum of parellel sides)
Area of trapezium shaped field = 1/2 (25+10)
= 1/2(35)
= 17.5 m sq.
