Solutions :-

Given :
Length of field = 140 m
Breadth = 36 m

Find the area of field :-

Area of rectangle = (Length × Breadth) sq. units
= (140 × 36) m²
= 5040 m²

Find the number of labourers are to be engaged to plough the field in a day :-

We know,
1 labourer can plough 120 sq. m in a day.

120 m² = 1 labourer
5040 m² = (1 × 5040)/120 = 42 labourers

Hence,
42 labourers are to be engaged to plough the field in a day.

Dear ,

Your Answer is ; 42 Labours.

• Step by Step Explanation ;-
✧══════•❁❀❁•══════✧

Given ;-
• Field's Length = 140 m.
• Field's Breadth = 36 m.

Now ,
Finding the area of the field ;-

We know that ;-
• Area of Rectangle = ( Length × Breadth )

So ,

 = > (140 \times 36) {m}^{2}
 = > 5040 {m}^{2}

Now ,
Finding the number of labourers required to be busy in the ploughing of filed in a day ;-

We also know that ;-
• 1 Labour plough's 120m^2 in a day .

So ,

120 \: m^{2} = 1 \: labour
5040 \: m^{2} = \frac{1 \times 5040}{120} = 42 \: labours

Therefore ,
The number of labourers to be engaged in to plough the field in a day is 42.
