By 0.47 meters , the level of field is raised

Solution:

Given that,

A field is 200 m long and 150 m broad

Therefore,

Length of field = 200 m

Width of field = 150 m

Let the height of filed rises by "h" meters

Find volume of field:

Volume\ of\ field = 200 \times 150 \times h

There is a plot, 50 m long and 40 m broad, near the field

The plot is dug 7 m deep

Therefore,

Length of plot = 50 m

Width of plot = 40 m

Height of plot = 7 m

Find volume of plot:

Volume\ of\ plot = 50 \times 40 \times 7\\\\Volume\ of\ plot = 14000

The earth taken out is spread evenly on the field

Therefore,

Volume of field = volume of plot

200 \times 150 \times h = 14000\\\\30000 \times h = 14000\\\\h = \frac{14000}{30000}\\\\h = 0.4666 \approx 0.47\ meter

Thus, by 0.47 meters , the level of field is raised
